I would love you to meet Brian, Sam and Little Man Brody.

Sam is a great friend of mine and her boyfriend Brian, well…he hold a special place in my heart.  As does his little boy Brody…though if he keeps his eyes on my daughter, we might have words one day..but that is a story for another time.  HA.

Here are the sneak peeks that are two weeks late…eeek.   Two sick kids, one sick momma, and a sick husband keeps me hopping…so they are late…but I will be working my butt off to get them all done ASAP.

I had a great opportunity to shoot a senior session with Meghan.  Her boyfriend is currently in boot camp for the Marines.  Michael is a super sweet kid and is totally in love with Meghan.  You can just see their chemistry, their commitment, and their love for each other.  But before we get to those; let me share with you some images of Meghan.  She is totally beautiful and just ensues jealousy and envy.

And now I would like you to meet Michael.  He is such a sweet and respectable kid.  He was like that before boot camp.  Megan is the daughter of my friend and daycare provider, so Michael is around my kids all the time.  He plays with them, hangs out with them, and my kids just adore him.  I was honored that I was able to get some shots of him in his blues and learn some of the inns and outs of being a Marine.

I have known Jennifer for about 9 years.  Our oldest kids went to daycare together and now our babies go to daycare together.  Good times.

Peace and Hair Grease Folks!

There are so many things that I love about this photograph.  I love the fact that you can see the hap hazard style my books are stacked.  I love that you can see my basket to hold all my bags and purses that are accumulating the kids’ jackets.   But most of all, I love this photograph because it tells the story of our home.  This house is small, cluttered, and in a constant state of repair.  But…all of my babies have come home while we lived in this house.  We have had our greatest Christmas’ in this house.  We have had some awesome memories in this house.  This little, in constant state of repair, cluttered house is all our.  The walls for our Party of Five.

So…I am dedicating this post to my too cute for words twins.  I would also include my nine year old, but I can tell you right now that the shots that I did get of Jakob; well, he was not being cooperative at all.  All of them were blurry, and he was just plain funky looking with his facial expressions.  I will have a post of him soon.

This is my insane daughter Lillian.  She is a handful.  Looks and acts just like her momma.  She is stubborn, willful, a tad bit bossy.  But, she is also lovable, amazing, kind, and so lovey dovey at times it just almost makes my heart swell out of my chest.

She is just beautiful; almost painfully beautiful.  I worry about the days that she starts dating and the day that she finally decides that she is going to bring home a boy that will make her daddy decide that a gun collection is in order.

This is my sweet baby boy Jackson.  He is so on the path that Jakob has beaten in this world.  He adores his big brother and so wants to be like him.  He is in love with Batman, Spiderman, and Ironman all at the same time.  He loves to play football (or at least try to play football).  He loves to be tickled.  He loves to snuggle bug with his momma to watch movies and to just chill out.

He also is the first to tattle on his sister or his big brother.  He is also the first to throw a fit when he does not get his way.  He is also one to pull his sisters’ hair and also hit her.  But what else are big brothers for.  I adore this little kid.  He is a total momma’s boy.  Why deny what is totally true.

As a momma of twins, there are times when I want to rip my hair out one by one just so I have another reason for the headache.  There are sometimes that I want just implement and earlier bed time..say 6:45pm.  There are sometimes that I sit and wonder “How do I have twins?”

Then there are the times when they are just being them, and I sit and think “How do I have twins?  What did I do to receive such a blessing.  They are simply being themselves and being the creative, amazing, spectacular little people that they are.  I am just in awe of them sometimes.

Yes our life is crazy and chaotic.  But, I will miss these moments when they are in their rooms becoming the kids that they will be.

This week has taken forever.  Fighting colds and being sick in this house is craziness.

But, even being covered in tissue and such, I have been working on a session from Saturday, and can I tell you that Baby Ella is just amazing.  She was such a trooper and was a total pleasure to work with.  Look at how pretty she is.

Jennifer, she is amazing, as you already know.

I can wait to work with your family again.
